I love this butterfly (ahem, fufferfly) stamp! It's another one from the set, Butterfly Garden from Storage Units, Ink and More. I just love her little face! I knew I wanted to make the circle on this card have scallops and use some new paper I picked up at the National Scrapbook Convention in Arlington a while back. It's by American Crafts. I did this card for my friend, Jen del Muro's Sketch For You to Try that she features on her blog every Saturday (this Saturday will be no different, so come on over and play with us!). Stamps: Butterfly Garden (Storage Units Ink) Paper: Real Red, Bashful Blue (SU!), Papertrey White, Lime Green Core'dinations, Spring and Summer Crumpets (American Crafts) Ink: Palette Noir (Superior) Accessories: Large Scallop Circle Nestabilities, Cuttlebug, CM Circle Cutting System, Red/White Gingham Ribbon, Dimensionals, Sewing Machine/Red Thread, Cropadile, White Eyelets, Red Stickles, Glue Dot, Copic Markers
Here's another little number with the same set, Butterfly Garden. I really love this one. Have you ever just tucked a scallop circle behind a main layer like this? It doesn't all have to always be visible. For this card, it was just "too much" to have the white circle completely matted with the scalloped one. You should definitely try it. Oh, and Ric Rac!! So fun!! Stamps: Butterfly Garden (Storage Units, Ink and More) Paper: Pretty in Pink, Soft Sky, Regal Rose (SU!), Papertrey White, Mainstreet Sweet Pea (Treehouse Memories) Ink: Palette Noir (Superior), Vivid Black (Clearsnap) Accessories: Copic/Prismacolor Markers, Adhesive Rhinestones, Cuttlebug Swiss Dots, Paper Piercer/Mat Pack, Dimensionals, Giga Scallop Circle Punch, Ric Rac (doodlebug Designs), Dimensionals
Both are very beautiful!!!
